The Party Deck is the primary location for non-baseball talk. Topics often include popular television shows, books and music, obscure movies, bunnies, exercise regimens and other Denver sports teams, among other things.
At the start of the 2014 season, the Off-Topic section was rechristened "The Party Deck" as an in-joke to the Rockies' recent construction of a party deck at Coors Field, where casual fans could spend money to take in a baseball-like experience without actually paying attention to the baseball at hand.
Despite being more lax regard to subject matter, comments containing profanity or discussions of politics/religion are frowned upon. This was changed from an outright ban shortly before the start of the 2015 season.
